My name is Nicole Miller but I'm also known as Nanami Khalil.  In fact,  most of my writing I've posted on the web is listed under both names.  I decided to start this site again so that I could keep it all in one place and hopefully, this time, for a long time.

I've been writing since 1995 when I realized that I needed a better outlet than crying all the time and appearing so depressed.  This has helped me write what I feel and thus keeping an outward appearance of being alright.

 Most of my works are what people would consider dark and/or emo.  Well, I stick by the line I've been using since emo gained a gathering:

"I was emo before emo was emo."

I also do a bit of graphic work for LiveJournal layouts and MySpace layouts.

I'll have a portfolio of some of the headers and background images I've edited and/or created.  They're not much but they kind of show how I've grown with Photoshop over the years.

I've had professional training with Photoshop CS3 and CS4 as I used to do Technical Support for Adobe Systems.
